Professional Work

A collection of some of the professional projects I've been a part of.

BVSG

BVSG is a Kids TV show I was asked to work on early on its production and continued to work on for a couple of years. As the ambition of the project grew, my responsibilities grew alongside,  to the point I was responsible for a majority of the Modeling, shading/texturing and lighting.

Above is a reel of shots I played a big hand in, as well as some turntables of some of the ships I models and textured.

Underwater Concept

Some early concept images and a breakdown of one of the clips for future animated short. Includes character turnaround for main character, which I designed.

Environment Modelling/Bubbles Sim - Philip Black

Character Modelling/Shading/Lighting/Comping - Tom Priest

Unreal Engine Architectural Visualisation

Visualisation material compiled by me. The 3DSMax file was provided for me and I was tasked with bringing it into Unreal Engine 4 and creating some interesting visuals using lighting and camera animation.

Rollie and Friends

Rollie And Friends is a project I worked on at Studio Distract. My main responsibilities round the park were modelling designs given to me by concept artists and working out the best uses of space to give the park the feel of a real theme park. I was also tasked with overseeing Discovery Area, one of the 3 main areas of the park, tasking people with modelling jobs and ensuring that the models came together in a fitting way. I was also behind modelling Flash, one of the main characters of the show,

There is only so much I can show of this as production for this show is ongoing.

Think Money TV Advert

At Studio Distract I was part of a team that put together a 30 second television advertisement for a Think Money credit card. my involvement included environment design, modelling and UVing as well as modelling and UV unwrapping assets for the characters.

Astraius Graphic

Motion graphic project for Astraius. Put together by me and James Beardsell for a client, I was responsible for the Modelling, Animation and Camera.

Pots of Luck

This leprechaun model was created for an online betting company 'Pots Of Luck'. I was responsible for the modelling, UV unwrapping and assisting with the Textures and Shaders.

Concept was done by Emily Harvey.

Scientist

This Scientist model was created for an online betting company. I was responsible for the modelling, UV unwrapping and assisting with the Textures and Shaders.

Concept was done by Emily Harvey.

Performance Capture

Performance Capture was an art installation curated by Ed Atkins for the Manchester International Festival 2015. Ed approached Studio Distract with the task of realising his vision digitally and we stepped up to the task, dealing with capturing performance with mocap equipment, dealing with said date and processing it out through a render farm. My duties for this included helping with the XGen and render farm process troubleshooting in the build up to the month long event, and processing the data, applying XGen and looking after rendering in front of an audience in the Manchester Art Gallery.
